Not this guy again.

And speaking of torture...

Here's what happened yesterday with an audience at the University of Colorado:

"The first question came from a woman who asked if Ashcroft would be willing to be subjected to waterboarding.

'The things that I can survive, if it were necessary to do them to me, I would do,' he said."

Wow. Talk about a non-committal commitment.

This is how how he defends the Patriot Act:

“Let’s look at the law and see what we can do that would help us. We need to think differently, think outside the box . . . never think outside the Constitution.”

Looks like somebody's got a case of the contradictions.

"Check out Mol the Doll's blog," my wife advised me. "You'll hoot," she promised. "Maybe even holla'."

What she didn't tell me, however, and in fact what she kept secret was that I'd have to hear Ashcroft sing. I'm tainted now, is what I am; forever marked.

"Look at him, Mommy!" a little girl will point and cower as I pass by. "What's wrong with him?" (Children can be cruel.)

"Don't look, dear! He... he heard Ashcroft croon."

Clearly, I'm a victim here. (Not of your blog, mind you, just the ex-AG. Your blog I'll link to from mine. 'Cause everyone deserves a chance to hear how the (mighty) eagle soars.)
