Man that guy came to Earth from some other planet, didn't he? How long has it been since he first came on the scene, and Karen is still too freaked out by him to be able to listen to a whole song at once. Thank you, Saturn, for Little Richard.
By contrast, my spouse grew up on Long Island in the 50s and would sneak into the city to see him perform at the Apollo.
We went to see him live at Harrah's Voodoo Lounge last fall and it was a religious experience.
Figuratively and literally. He handed out salvation tracts after the show.
He is an amazing person.
